Dr. Theodore Achacoso

Dr. Ted Achacoso is the founding pioneer of the clinical practice of Health Optimization Medicine (HOMe/HOPe). He was mentored by the founding pioneer of Anti-Aging Medicine and Nutritional Medicine, Thierry Hertoghe (Dr. Ted is double board-certified, Paris), mentored by the founding pioneer of Medical Informatics and research scientist in Artificial Intelligence, William S. Yamamoto (Washington, DC), mentored by the founding pioneer of Socially Responsible Investing and Finance (now called Impact Investing), D. Wayne Silby (Washington, DC), and mentored by the country pioneers of Interventional Neuroradiology, Neurology, and Pharmacology/Toxicology (Manila).

He is based in Washington, DC, maintains a tricontinental HOMe practice (US, Europe, Asia), and performs HOMe/HOPe lecturing, mentoring, and international corporate consulting activities involving nutritional supplement formulation and the establishment of metabolomics, mitochondria, and microbiota laboratories.

Scott Sherr, MD

Scott is an internal medicine physician specializing in Health Optimization Medicine (HOMe/HOPe) and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). He is the COO and Founding Organizer of Health Optimization Medicine (HOMe/HOPe)–USA and the Founder of Integrative HBOT, a website that is dedicated to the power of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. He has an online consulting practice as well as clinics in San Francisco, New York, and Oregon with affiliations across the country and the world.

It was after meeting Dr. Ted, however, that he realized that HOMe/HOPe had the potential to move the needle on health on a far larger scale. HBOT naturally fit as a powerful health optimization technology but HOMe/HOPe was the foundation. Dr. Scott And Dr. Shekhar have opened the first HOMe clinic in the United States, HOMe/HOPe-SF.

Paulita (Pinky) Villegas Baclig, MD

Dr Pinky Baclig is one of the pioneer practitioners of Health Optimization Medicine and Practice (HOMe/HOPe) in the Philippines under the special mentorship program with Dr. Ted Achacoso. She is the President and Medical Director of Clinica Salutare Incorporated, a HOMe/HOPe specialty clinic in Bonifacio Global City, Philippines. She is double-board certified in Nutritional Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine in Belgium. She is trained in Public Health (Hawaii) and Family and Community Medicine (Philippines). Dr. Baclig is a Fellow of the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians.

Jodi Duval, ND

Jodi is the principal Naturopath at Revital Health with over a decade of clinical experience, she is the CEO of HOMe/HOPe Australia, lecturer at Endeavour College of Natural Health, podcast host, and is completing her Masters in Human Nutrition.⁣⁠⁣

Jodi specialises in Health Optimization and Practice (HOMe/HOPe), she combines traditional forms of medicine with cutting edge scientific research to detect and correct subtle deficiencies and toxicities to treat the underlying causes of disease. She loves digging deep into peoples’ health, and uses a large range of functional and in-clinic testing to learn about her patients’ histories and genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors.

Peter Quilendrino, MD

Dr. Peter Quilendrino is a General and Laparoscopic Surgeon in Manila. He is double board-certified in Nutritional and Anti-Aging Medicine in Belgium. Prior to training as a Health Optimization Medicine and Practice (HOMe/HOPe) Specialist, Dr. Peter experienced first hand the benefits of this personalized, scientific approach to wellness, allowing him to detect and correct conditions associated with pre-illness. He believes that everyone can benefit from HOMe/HOPe, and that an ounce of correction sure beats looking for a cure.

Shekhar Pai, MD

Dr. Shekhar Pai is an internal medicine physician with an MS and MD from Georgetown University. He is HOMe/HOPe Chief Connector and engagement specialist. Dr. Shekhar’s quest involves connecting and uniting major influencers across all sectors globally in order to catalyze the development of a robust and sustainable system to solve the set of all problems on this pale blue dot (and beyond). Firmly establishing HOMe/HOPe and revealing Dr. Achacoso to the world are early steps of the plan.

Maria Isabel Quilendrino, MD

Dr. Maria Isabel Quilendrino is a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician from the Philippines. Dr. Isa’s interest in research and nutrition has led her to the practice of Health Optimization Medicine and Practice (HOMe/HOPe) after becoming board certified in Nutritional Medicine in Belgium. She is also a candidate for Masters in Clinical Epidemiology and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, University of the Philippines – College of Medicine. As a passionate health advocate and fitness enthusiast, Dr. Isa applies a scientific and holistic approach for the health management of the children and families she serves.

Cenia Lucas-Acevedo, MD

Dr. Cenia Lucas-Acevedo is a fellow of the Philippine Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a senior member of the European Society of Aesthetic Gynecology. Seeking to find a balanced solution to over-all wellness brought about her immersion in Health Optimization Medicine and Practice (HOMe/HOPe). Thereafter, she became board certified in Brussels in both Nutritional Medicine (Distinction) and Anti-Aging Medicine (Distinction). Moreover, she is a fellow of the Alinsod Institute for Aesthetic Vulvovaginal Surgery (USA). Dr. Lucas- Acevedo is an advocate of complete fitness as seen in her form and countenance, and considers the optimization of the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of her patients as her goals. To this end, she founded Vivacite, Center for Scientific Wellness (BGC, Taguig City, Philippines), of which she is the medical director.

Sarah Achacoso

Sarah Achacoso graduated from the University of California, Davis with a B.S. in Biological Sciences, emphasis in neurobiology, physiology and behavior. She has interests that are wide and varied which led her to career as a financial auditor and consultant for the past 10 years. Her growing desire to see others, as well herself, live a full and healthy life ultimately led her back “home” to her first love of science. She is the quiet girl behind the scenes working to make HOMe/HOPe an invaluable asset to your wellness!

Teja Krašek

Matjuška Teja Krašek is a freelance artist who lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She holds a B.A. degree in painting from Arthouse – College for Visual Arts, Ljubljana. Krašek’s work concentrates on melding art, science, mathematics and technology. She employs contemporary computer technology as well as classical painting techniques. Teja is the designer of the HOMe/HOPe logo and much of the graphic art you will see on our website. 

Boomer Anderson

Boomer Anderson is the CEO of Health Optimization Medicine and Practice (HOMe/HOPe).

Boomer's love of data, complexity, and long-tail opportunities drove him to HOMe/HOPe a few years ago when he was searching for an elegant framework for health optimization.

Boomer's Health Optimization Practice has roots in Amsterdam, Asheville, and Auckland. The practice flies under-the-radar behind his podcast,Decoding Superhuman and other entrepreneurial activities.
