Bioenergetics (Mitochondria)


Bioenergetics is the study of the flow and transformation of energy within biological systems, particularly focusing on how living organisms acquire, store, and utilize energy to sustain vital processes. It encompasses the understanding of various energy-related pathways, such as cellular respiration as well as the interplay between ATP production, conversion, and utilization in different biological contexts. In this module, we focus on the requirements for energy production (light, water, magnetism, vitamins, minerals, nutrients), the impedances to energy production (toxins, heavy meals), mitochondrial dynamics, mitochondrial biogenesis, and more.
